The owner's manual
Every Evolamate feature, plainly explained
Evolamate does a lot — this page makes sure none of it goes to waste. For each feature: what it does, how to use it, and the habit that makes it pay off. No jargon, no theory — just how to get the most marketing out of the least of your time.
01
Business Brain — teach it once, benefit everywhere
The Business Brain is Evolamate's understanding of your business: your services, prices, story, customers and claims — each one held as a fact with a source. Every post, ad and reply is written from these facts, which is why Evolamate never invents an offer or a guarantee you didn't make.
How to use it
- Point it at your website (and upload any documents) — it researches and extracts facts on its own.
- Review what it learned: confirm what's right, correct what's wrong, and delete what doesn't belong.
- Lock anything sensitive — a locked fact can never be changed by AI, only by you.
- Whenever something changes in the real world (new price, new hours, new service), update it here once — every future post knows immediately.
Get the most from it: Ten minutes confirming facts here improves everything downstream. A rich, corrected Brain is the single biggest difference between generic content and content that sounds like you.
02
Brand — your look and voice, applied automatically
Your colours, logo, tone of voice and rules. Every designed image and every caption is generated inside these guardrails, so your feed looks and sounds consistent without you policing it.
How to use it
- Upload your logo and set your primary and secondary colours.
- Pick a tone of voice — it shapes every caption and reply draft.
- Choose whether your logo appears on designed posts (the "show logo on posts" switch). Off means clean designs with no logo; on means it's placed like a designer would — small and confident.
Get the most from it: If your posts ever feel off-brand, fix it here once rather than editing posts one by one — the correction applies to everything generated afterwards.
03
Studio — where content gets made
The Studio turns strategy into finished posts: each "concept" is one marketing idea, delivered as a designed image plus a caption written separately for every channel you've enabled. One concept, adapted everywhere, counted once.
How to use it
- Press Generate and choose how many concepts you want. Evolamate plans the batch like a strategist — different roles, angles and audiences, never near-duplicates of what you've already posted.
- Use the focus box when you have something specific to say: type it in your own rough words ("winter safety checks", "new opening hours 7am–7pm", "introduce the business"). Your focus becomes the subject of the batch — and it's also saved into your Business Brain so future posts remember it too.
- Review each concept: approve the ones you love, reject the rest (you're only ever charged for what you approve).
- Regenerate works the way you'd expect: the first regenerations reproduce the same design idea; keep pressing and it refreshes the execution while keeping what works.
- Edit anything before approving — headline, captions per channel, the lot.
Get the most from it: Generate in batches of 3–5 and approve selectively. The system learns from what you approve and what performs, so your taste compounds into better first drafts over time.
04
Upload your own post — your work, professionally presented
For when you've taken the photo yourself — a finished job, a happy customer, new stock — and want it published properly. Your image and your words go through the same approve → schedule → publish → measure pipeline. Several images become an Instagram carousel and a Facebook photo set.
How to use it
- Add your image(s), a title and a caption — rough notes are fine.
- Tick "Write it properly for me" and Evolamate rewrites your words with a real hook, fitted to each channel. Every name, price and number you typed stays exactly as written; nothing is ever invented.
- Tick "Design my photo" and your picture stays the hero while Evolamate adds your brand colours, a headline and your logo. One click brings back the untouched original if you prefer it.
- Uploads count as half a concept when approved — a 20-concept plan covers 40 of your own posts.
Get the most from it: This is the fastest content in the app: photo straight from your phone, two ticks, approve, schedule. Owners who post real work photos weekly consistently out-engage pure stock feeds.
05
Channels — where your marketing goes
Connect the platforms you want Evolamate to publish to. Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn publish automatically once connected. Every other enabled channel still gets every post prepared as a ready-to-post pack: the image and the caption, one tap to copy.
How to use it
- Facebook & Instagram: a one-time five-minute setup with a video and a step-by-step guide showing every screen. Instagram connects through the Facebook Page it's linked to.
- LinkedIn: one click — sign in with LinkedIn and you're connected. Posts publish to your personal profile, where your own network sees them. The connection renews with one click roughly every 60 days, and Evolamate reminds you before it's due.
- Google Business, Medium, Reddit: enable them and every concept arrives with a caption written for that platform, ready to paste.
- Disconnect any channel in one click, any time — publishing stops immediately and the stored access is deleted.
Get the most from it: Enable channels even before you can auto-connect them. The captions are written per platform either way, and pasting a prepared Google Business post takes thirty seconds.
06
Planner — everything scheduled, in order
Your publishing calendar. Every approved post appears here with its time and channel; connected channels publish themselves at the scheduled moment, and anything marked "post manually" is ready with the caption and image one click away.
How to use it
- Schedule from the Studio (pick channels and time) or let Autopilot fill the calendar on your cadence.
- Switch between list and calendar views; drag to reschedule.
- If a post fails, you're told — with the honest reason, by email — and given the right next step: a safe Retry when nothing went out, or a check-first prompt when the outcome is uncertain.
Get the most from it: Consistency beats volume. Two or three good posts a week, every week, outperforms a burst of ten followed by silence — and the publishing rhythm strip on your Dashboard shows how steady you actually are.
07
Inbox — comments and messages, answered well
Comments on your posts and Facebook Messenger messages flow into one place, classified (question, complaint, praise, buying intent), each with a reply already drafted from your verified facts — so the answer is fast and accurate.
How to use it
- New items arrive within about ten minutes of appearing on the platform.
- Read the drafted reply, edit if you like, and send it from Evolamate — comments and Messenger replies both go out directly.
- Anything the AI judges sensitive is escalated for your judgement rather than answered blindly.
Get the most from it: Reply to everything, even the small stuff — response rate is a ranking signal on Meta, and buyers read your replies to other people before they message you.
08
Leads — enquiries become a pipeline, not a memory
When a comment or message shows real buying intent, Evolamate creates a lead automatically: who, from which channel, what they're interested in — and emails you immediately, because answering within the hour is what wins the job.
How to use it
- Work the board: New → Responded → Qualified → Quote requested → Follow-up → Won or Lost.
- Every lead links back to the original conversation, where a reply is already drafted.
- Set a follow-up date on each lead; overdue ones are flagged so nothing slips.
Get the most from it: The follow-up date is the feature. Most small businesses lose jobs not to competitors but to forgetting to follow up — move every live lead forward or park it as Lost, never leave it ambiguous.
09
Ads — paid reach, with you holding the wallet
Evolamate proposes complete Meta ad campaigns from your verified facts: strategy, audience, budget, duration and copy. Campaigns are created paused inside your own Meta Ads Manager, spending only starts when you press Activate, and the money always lives in your own ad account with your own payment method.
How to use it
- Propose a campaign (add a focus if you have one — it becomes the brief).
- Change anything before approving: budget, duration, ages, placement (Facebook, Instagram or both), and which creative — boost a post you've already published, or run a fresh ad with a call-to-action button.
- Press Create in Meta — everything is built paused in your Ads Manager. Activate when you're ready; pause any time from Evolamate or Ads Manager.
- Watch results on the Overview tab: live account status, and per-campaign impressions, clicks, CTR and spend once the ad is delivering. Press Analyse on any campaign for trend and anomaly checks, and generate the plain-English Report for the full honest story and next steps.
Get the most from it: Start small and let the numbers decide. A $5–10/day boost on your best-performing organic post is the cheapest possible test of whether paid reach pays for your business.
10
Campaigns — multi-week organic series
Different from Ads: a Campaign is a planned series of organic posts building one theme over weeks — a launch, a seasonal push, a story told in chapters. No ad spend involved.
How to use it
- Describe the goal; Evolamate plans the arc and generates the posts in sequence.
- Approve and schedule like any other concepts — they're counted the same way.
Get the most from it: Use a campaign when one post can't carry the message — launches and seasonal offers land better as a drumbeat than a single announcement.
11
Competitors — know the gap you can own
Add your competitors and Evolamate studies their public presence: what they talk about, what they ignore, and where the opening is for you. Those gaps feed your strategy so your content leans into what they're missing.
How to use it
- Add competitor websites; research runs automatically and refreshes over time.
- Read the market analysis for the gaps and opportunities it found.
Get the most from it: Pick your three real-world rivals, not the national brands. The gaps that matter are the ones customers in your suburb actually compare.
12
Insights & Monthly Review — what worked, in plain English
Performance flows back from your connected channels and becomes memory: what topics, styles and times work for your audience. Future strategy is biased toward your winners, and a monthly review explains the month like a marketing director would — what happened, why, and what to do next.
How to use it
- Check Insights for per-post and per-channel performance.
- Read the monthly review when it lands — it's written from your numbers, not a template.
Get the most from it: You don't have to act on the data — Evolamate already does. But skimming the monthly review keeps you able to say exactly why your marketing looks the way it does.
13
Ask Evolamate — an advisor that knows your business
A marketing advisor grounded in your own data: your Brain, your plan, your results. Ask why a post exists, what to do about a slow month, whether an idea fits your strategy — the answers draw on your business, not generic advice.
How to use it
- Ask in plain language, as you'd ask a consultant.
- Use it before big decisions — "should I push service X or service Y this month?" gets an answer reasoned from your actual performance.
Get the most from it: It's most valuable for "why" questions. "Why did engagement drop in August?" gets you the honest reading of your own numbers in seconds.
14
Autopilot — your standing plan, running itself
Autopilot runs your marketing on a cadence you choose: generating concepts, scheduling approved ones, publishing on time. Its autonomy is a setting — from "draft everything, I approve each piece" to fully automated — and it can never exceed your plan's quota or override your approval rules.
How to use it
- Set the cadence (how much content, how often) and the autonomy level you're comfortable with.
- Change either at any time; locked facts and brand rules bind Autopilot exactly as they bind you.
Get the most from it: Start with approval-first for a few weeks. Once you notice you're approving nearly everything unchanged, raise the autonomy — that's the moment it's earned.
15
Plans & billing — pay for what you approve
One concept = one marketing idea, adapted to every channel, counted once. You're charged only for concepts you approve — rejected drafts cost nothing. Your own uploads count as half a concept. No surprises, no per-channel multipliers.
How to use it
- The Free plan lets you try it properly: full Business Brain, three concepts, no credit card.
- Upgrade when the quota is the only thing holding you back; add Advertising to any plan when you're ready for paid reach.
Get the most from it: Approve deliberately. The quota is a budget for ideas that reach your audience — rejecting freely costs you nothing and trains the system on your taste.
16
Your first week — the order that works
- Day 1Let the Business Brain research your website, then spend ten minutes confirming and locking facts. Set your Brand: logo, colours, tone.
- Day 1–2Connect Facebook & Instagram (the five-minute guided setup) and LinkedIn (one click). Enable any other channels you post to.
- Day 2Generate your first three concepts. Approve the ones that feel like you, reject the rest — that's the system learning your taste.
- Day 3Schedule the approved posts across the week in the Planner. Upload one photo of your own real work with both helpers ticked.
- Day 4–7Watch the Inbox as engagement arrives — send the drafted replies. When your first lead lands, answer it within the hour.
- Week 2+Check Insights, raise Autopilot when you're approving everything unchanged, and try a small ad on your best post when you're ready.
